Terms of use

Use the report as a decision aid, not a factual verdict about a company.

These terms govern use of the Job Reality Check website and Chrome extension included in this release.

Effective date: August 19, 2026

Acceptance

By using the product, you agree to these terms. Do not use it if you do not agree. The production owner should replace any placeholder company and jurisdiction details before public launch and obtain legal review appropriate to the operating entity.

What the product does

The product analyzes text from job descriptions and produces informational signals about compensation transparency, role coherence, scope, employer transparency, missing information and candidate questions.

What the product does not do

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for independently verifying employers, contacts, compensation, work authorization, contracts and any requests for money or sensitive information. You must have the right to paste or process the content you use.

User-supplied and third-party job content

Roles and related information may be scanned from third-party job websites by extension users or entered manually. salari.dev does not create, post, sponsor, verify or endorse those roles. Their presence in a saved list or report does not establish that a vacancy is legitimate, accurate, funded, active or offered by the named employer.

Job content may be incomplete, outdated, misleading, duplicated or submitted without the employer's involvement. You must verify the vacancy, employer, recruiter, compensation, application destination and hiring status through an official source before relying on it, sharing personal information or making any payment.

Acceptable use

You may use the product for personal job research and internal evaluation. You may not:

Storage and private synchronization

The website and extension keep a local report copy only after you choose Save role. That action also sends the complete analysis, structured public job facts, a short derived summary and its exact job URL through the private jobs.salari.dev API. The full extracted job-description body is removed before transmission. You are responsible for device security and access to your saved-role list.

Intellectual property

Job descriptions remain the property of their respective owners. Product branding, design and original source are governed by the license included with this project. Open-source dependencies, if later added, remain under their own licenses.

Availability and changes

The product may change, be suspended or contain errors. Scoring rules may be revised as the methodology improves. A production service should publish meaningful methodology changes.

Disclaimer

The product is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. Text analysis may be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable for a particular decision.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the product owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from reliance on a report, missed opportunities, employment decisions, local data loss, user-supplied content or third-party conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Third-party websites

Job pages and external links are controlled by third parties. The product owner is not responsible for their content, availability, security or employment practices.

Governing terms before launch

This source package intentionally does not invent a legal entity, registered address or governing jurisdiction. Add those details and obtain qualified legal review before public commercial deployment.
